MEET THE ATHLETE

Jocelyn Briski is one of the nation's premier pitchers and a standout for the University of Alabama. A native of Phoenix, Briski has emerged as one of college softball's most dominant arms, helping lead Alabama back to the national spotlight. Known for her poise, power, and competitiveness in the circle, she has become a cornerstone of the Crimson Tide program and one of the most respected pitchers in the SEC.Briski's breakout 2026 season cemented her place among the elite players in the country, finishing with a 24-4 record, a 1.41 ERA, and 220 strikeouts. Through her collegiate career, she has compiled more than 50 wins, over 400 strikeouts, and a career ERA just above 2.00, consistently ranking among the SEC's top pitchers while leading Alabama to the Women's College World Series.
In her freshman season at Houston, Wells hit .341 with 10 home runs and 47 RBIs, earning recognition as one of the top young hitters in the country. She elevated her game even further at Alabama, batting .369 with 24 home runs, 68 RBIs, a .496 on-base percentage, and an .844 slugging percentage, ranking among the nation's most productive offensive players and climbing Alabama's single-season home run leaderboard.

Briski earned 2026 SEC Pitcher of the Year honors, becoming just the eighth player in Alabama history to receive the award. She was also named First Team All-SEC, earned a spot on the Women's College World Series All-Tournament Team, and was recognized as a Top 10 Finalist for the USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year Award. Her dominance in the circle and leadership throughout Alabama's postseason run have made her one of the most highly regarded pitchers in collegiate softball and a rising star on the national stage.
